Why homeowners choose us over other contractors
Every contractor in the High Country will tell you they do good work. Here's what actually sets us apart, in plain terms.
Dual-licensed, not just one trade
We hold both an NC General Contractor license (#100687) and an NC Wastewater/Septic Installer license (#11181). Most contractors have one or the other — we're licensed for both, so your build, remodel, or septic system doesn't need a second company.
Owner-operated on every job
Adam Grabousky personally walks every property before quoting it and stays involved from the first estimate to the final walkthrough — not a call center passing you off to whoever's available.
We own our equipment
Excavators, skid steers, and grading equipment are ours, and we bring in extra equipment when a job calls for it. Either way, we're already set up locally, so there's no added travel charge.
Local to the High Country since 2019
Headquartered in Jefferson, NC — not a crew driving in from off the mountain or hours away. We know the terrain, the county permitting offices, and how mountain weather affects a build here.
Featured on Discovery Channel's Homestead Rescue
In 2026, the production company behind Homestead Rescue hired Riverfront Group for an episode — third-party recognition of our work, not just our own claim.
Transparent, honest estimates
What we quote is what you're billed — itemized or lump sum. No padded change orders once the work is already underway.
Real projects, real High Country homes
From full kitchen remodels in log cabins to septic systems tucked into mountain pastures, every project gets the same attention to detail.
You'll always know where your project stands.
What we quote is what you pay — no surprises.
Adam is on-site, not just in the office.
